Spanish women’s football coach talks about losing to Japan: unable to deal with opponent strategy, but now it seems to be a good thing

Live Bar, August 19 -spanish women’s football coach Jorge Bilda recently accepted an interview with Aspen and talked about the Spanish women’s football team’s previous defeat of Japanese women’s football team.

Bilda said: “The situation that day was that the Japanese team was far better than us. In that match, we failed to reach the level we should have. The defense of the Japanese team is very strict, which we did not expect. We thought it would be an open game, and everyone must fight for everything.”

“However, the actual situation is that the Japanese team gave up the possession of the ball to withdraw and defend. We don’t know how to deal with the strategy of the other side. On that day, our performance was not good, but considering the team’s reaction afterwards, we can now make the defeat a positive event.”

“What happened after that defeat? At that moment, everyone was united. We were communicating and had no doubt about the national team. We knew we could succeed, and we did and entered the finals.”
