Klopp: I am very excited about the first home game. The team should give the old players a decent farewell.

Live broadcast, August 19 -before the match against Bournemouth, Klopp was interviewed by Liverpool Echo. In the interview, he talked about his expectations for this season and the upcoming match.

Klopp said in an interview: “This is the first time we have played at Anfield in nearly three months, which makes me very excited. At this stage of this season, my views on the future are the same. We should look forward to the future because it is meaningless to say anything else. Expectation is part of my job, and it is the same for the club. We must have expectations in our hearts, which is one of the driving forces for us to move forward.

“We don’t have to predict the future or look too far, but we should have a common belief that we can work together in the right direction. Sometimes it’s easy for us. I spend most of my time on the training ground with the players. I see what they look like when they are training, and I see their willingness to get better. All these are the reasons why I love this team, which is still young and full of vigor.

“Of course, we still have a lot of work to do now, and we must accept this. We experienced some difficulties in the preseason, but the performance of the players was really very positive. I don’t need to talk too much about them, their performance is obvious to all. Some old players quickly adapted to the changes of the team, and they also created a positive atmosphere, allowing those new players to be well integrated into the team.

“In addition to the newly introduced players, another major change in the team is the departure of some players. I am very grateful to Keita, Chamberlain, Milner, filmino, Henderson and fabino for their efforts. When the time is ripe, we should do something for them, because Liverpool is really a club that highly recognizes the contribution of meritorious players. As far as Henderson and fabino are concerned, they are an important part of our current achievements. Under appropriate circumstances, we need to express our gratitude to them.”
