Owen: We won’t have a lot of homework and play football. Chinese parents value their children’s education.

Live broadcast bar, August 19 -on August 17, the “legendary return” World All-Star football carnival was launched in Wuhan. Live broadcast bar, as a live media attending, interviewed Owen. The following is one of the interview questions

I hope you can give some advice to Chinese children on how to balance learning and football?

Owen: this balance is very difficult and everyone has to face it. In life, you need to decide what you want to do. Frankly speaking, China and Britain are completely different when it comes to playing football and getting opportunities for education. This was the case in the past, especially now.

For Chinese parents, it is very important to let their children get education. They can get employment and then become doctors, teachers and so on in the future. I think this is very important in China.

Of course, it is also important to receive education in Britain, but there are also many opportunities for athletes and players. Then we will balance learning and exercise.

When we are in school, we will engage in many sports. When school is over, we won’t have a lot of homework and will go to many football clubs (take part in activities).

There is a football team in the school and a football team in the local community. If you play well, you will be selected by professional teams… so you really play football every day. This is very different in China. Therefore, it is very difficult to compare, but I will suggest that the better and simpler way for everyone is to practice.
